Cookies
To make this site work properly we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time; so you donβt have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies to gather statistics about the website. We identify whether a user is unique or repeat, where they came from and what page the user arrived on. We use this data for further website improvement and the development of new services.
What type of cookies do we use?
FIRST PARTY COOKIES: these are our own cookies, controlled by us and used to provide information about usage of our site. Every time a user visits our website web analytics software provided by a third party generates an anonymous analytics cookie. These cookies can tell us whether or not you have visited the site before. Your browser will tell us if you have these cookies, and if you don’t we generate new ones. This allows us to track how many individual unique users we have and how often they visit the site. These cookies cannot be used to identify individuals; they are used for statistical purposes only. If you are logged into our client area (if one exists on the website) we will also know the details you gave to us for this; such as username and email address, so you do not have to enter them again into login area.
THIRD PARTY COOKIES: these are cookies found in other companiesβ internet tools which we are using to enhance our site. For example Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter have their own cookies which are controlled by them.
How to control cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish β for details see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this however you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
